He chose to become her hero… but saving her may make him a villain again.
The Sheriff of Nottingham is dead, and Baron has a chance to become something more than the monster he was raised to be. To prove his loyalty, he replaces the former Sheriff, working from inside Prince John’s court while secretly aiding the Merry Men he once hunted.

But redemption is a dangerous game.
Laurel knows Baron is not the enemy he once seemed. He saved her life, betrayed everything for her, and chose to join the Merry Men. Yet trusting him means risking her heart all over again, and Laurel has never been good at doing anything carefully. When Baron’s past resurfaces and the truth of his former crimes threatens to tear them apart, Laurel must decide whether their love is worth trusting a man who still carries a darkness he might not be able to ever escape.

When a reckless mission goes horribly wrong, Baron may need to become a villain once again in order to save Laurel…but becoming a villain means she will hate him forever.

Laurel and Baron is the second book in the Descendants of Sherwood trilogy and is filled with forbidden romance, secret loyalties, dangerous bargains, and a love that might not be strong enough to overcome the price of saving it.

This series must be read in order.
