He took her innocence… She shattered his honor. Now, danger forces them together in a deadly game of passion and betrayal.

Alexandra’s dream is to become the fiercest swordswoman in France, despite the scorn of society. But when the irresistible Monsieur Philippe kisses her, she’s ready to give up everything—until he betrays her, bedding another woman just after their kiss. Humiliated, Alexandra swears off men, abandoning her past for a life as a mercenary, protecting the innocent through Provence’s treacherous forests. If she ever crosses paths with Philippe again, she’ll make sure to knock that arrogant smile right off his face.

Philippe has never forgotten Alexandra, and he regrets his betrayal every day. When a band of dangerous criminals forces him to hire a mercenary, he’s shocked to discover that Alexandra is now the one leading him into battle. She’s stunning, deadly, and just as angry as ever. As they fight side by side, Philippe realizes winning her heart will take more than his title and pride—it will demand everything.

With passion burning hotter than their past, and danger closing in at every turn, can they heal old wounds, or will revenge tear them apart forever?

Filled with adventure, danger, and sizzling second-chance chemistry, Taken by His Sword is a sweeping historical romance about redemption, resilience, and a love worth fighting for.
