A gripping Christian romantic suspense featuring a courageous FBI agent, a wounded military K-9, a second-chance romance, and a relentless race against a serial killer.

Three years ago, FBI Agent Ava Blake barely escaped a serial killer known as the Wax Saint. He murdered her partner, held her captive for days, and left scars that no amount of time could erase.
Now he’s back.
When a young woman is found encased in wax near Glacier National Park, Ava and her K-9 partner, Shadow, are called to Montana to investigate. The crime bears all the hallmarks of the killer who nearly destroyed her life. Determined to stop him before he strikes again, Ava returns to the mountains where her nightmare began.
What she doesn’t expect is Caleb Ward.
The wilderness guide who discovers the victim is the man Ava once planned to marry before fear and trauma drove her away. Forced to work together, Ava and Caleb find themselves confronting not only a ruthless killer but the painful memories neither has been able to leave behind.
As more victims disappear and cryptic messages reveal the Wax Saint’s growing obsession with Ava, the hunt becomes terrifyingly personal. With time running out and a killer always one step ahead, Ava and Shadow must follow a trail of secrets deep into the wilderness before another innocent life is lost.
But the Wax Saint has been waiting for Ava’s return.
And this time, he’s determined to finish what he started.
