Mail Order Mountains

When Agnes Murphy stepped off the steamboat that had taken her to Skagway, Alaska, she didn’t know what to expect. She knew a man was waiting for her who intended to marry her, but little else.

Jasper Jones stood at the dock in Skagway, Alaska, awaiting his mail-order bride. When he found her in the crowd, he was immediately attracted to her.
Together they made the month-long journey from Skagway to Yeti, Alaska, where his home and job were waiting for him. They had time to talk, laugh, and get to know one another.
As they walked, Agnes worried that she would fall short of what he was looking for in a wife. Jasper was concerned she wouldn’t enjoy life in a small Alaska town where there were only four other women.

When they reached Yeti, the real adventure began. They started their lives together, and all seemed well. Would they grow to truly love one another? Or would they simply have a marriage of convenience?
