Menace

The Titans have just days to repair their ship and get human survivors off of Planet Ellipsis before enemy reinforcements arrive to end their chances of escape forever.

Sefina
All I ever wanted was someone I could trust not to lie behind my back. I’ve been sold out, sold, used, and abused by the supposed good guys in this battle for human and Titan freedom. Now I’m stuck with someone worse than all of them…Menace.
He is a brooding Titan, a lurker, a know-it-all, and a stealth model that won’t leave me alone. I wish I knew what had crawled up his muscled backside and died. Then we could get on with this mission. The survivors can’t fight off the mutant wolves that hunt our camps at night. We need to focus on the task at hand…staying alive.
To make matters worse, Commander Savage sends Menace and me alone on a secret mission to recover an item essential to the rebellion, something the enemy stole that could be the key to our successful escape. We’ll get it if Menace stops fuming for one second and manages to keep his hands off of me.
When our mission goes sideways, I learn something new about him that changes everything.
Menace is anything but his name inside. He’s not like the bounty hunters that raised me. And now, I can’t stand the idea of ever being away from him again. The enemy Solcrue simply have other plans.

Menace
I can’t stand Sefina. She’s bossy, trigger-happy, and doesn’t respect a thing I say. And yet, every moment I’m not with her, she haunts my every thought with dirty ideas that make me come groveling back. I want her, badly, but I know I’d be no good as a mate.
I just want to do my job and keep our family safe: Titans and humans. Staying cool when we’re suddenly assigned to work closely together is proving difficult. When our secret mission falls apart, I crack. The monster in me takes over. Things I’ve kept hidden get exposed in a way I hoped they never would.
I know it scares Fin. And yet she doesn’t run, even refusing to leave me behind. I don’t understand why, but I know now that she’s the only one I want by my side.
She’s a rare kind of human if she can love a vicious animal like me.
I’ll protect her from the enemy if it’s the last thing I do.
