Name: The Chemistry Coach
Author: Riss Connor

100 pages

A star NHL player needs career help, and he gets it from his biggest fan. A woman who has shaped his past and holds his future in her hands, and he doesn’t even know she exists.

Professional hockey player Connor Greene wants nothing more than to stay near the nephew he helped raise. Unfortunately, his poor performance in a contract year doesn’t bode well for his chances of remaining in Seattle. When his career-long linemates were traded the previous year, Connor fell into a cold streak. With the trade deadline looming, Connor needs to build chemistry with two rookies if he wants any chance at getting his game back.

Daisy Mayes dreams of working for the Seattle Freeze, but after years of rejection, she resolves to make her own way. Burned-out and fed-up with her career as a corporate team-building consultant, she starts a hockey podcast with her best friend. Just days after launching it, her longtime NHL crush wanders into her day job with his teammates. It’s the opportunity of a life time and Daisy intends to seize it. But as she tricks them into bonding, she also has to fight her attraction to Connor, all while keeping their shared past, her relationship with Connor’s rival, and her overly enthusiastic fangirl tendencies under wraps.

The Chemistry Coach is an open door, slow burn, found family, hockey romance featuring insta-lust, steamy tension, goofy rookies, and a guaranteed HEA. It’s book one of the Coaching the Connors series, but can be enjoyed as a stand-alone.
