Righteous

Jariyah Owens has always been a good girl who’s lived a privileged life. She has attended the best schools and the most popular functions. She has to keep her image clean because her mother is the mayor of Ribax. She hates it but knows her mother would never let her give it up. Fed up with the stale dating pool she is used to, she asks the waitress at the local diner if she knows anyone that she might be able to set her up with. She wants to mix things up and ditch the trust fund babies. The woman is hesitant but agrees, telling her that she might be able to get her brother to agree to a date. What can possibly go wrong?

Chayse “Righteous” Redmond would do just about anything for his baby sister. So when she asks him to go on a blind date, he agrees. It doesn’t hurt that his sister asked him to scare her bad enough that she wouldn’t come looking across the tracks for trouble. It intrigues him that she would try and protect this girl this way. Once they meet, sparks start flying, though. As much as Righteous wants to scare the woman away, he also finds himself desiring a taste of the good stuff. He knows he should stick to the plan, but he finds himself wanting to pull Jariyah closer. Something about her calls to him.

What happens when Righteous realizes that he can’t keep Jariyah in the dark and protect her at the same time? Will Jariyah recognize that she’s bitten off more than she can chew? They say opposites attract, but does that also mean that they can make a real relationship work? Can two people from opposite sides of the tracks come together and find common ground?

Filled with action and drama, Righteous is sure to draw readers in, making them want to dive into a world that exists beyond what society deems normal.
