Finally liberated from my father’s chains, I’m starting to build my own empire, one that’s free of the danger and corruption he reveled in. Despite his reputation for being tough and demanding, he’s the opposite with me. To say I’m clumsy and accident prone would be an understatement. But Andrei is patient and calm. Where others would try to manage me or keep me out of trouble, he guides and praises. With him, I’m more confident than I’ve ever been. But just as I’m falling in love, I learn Andrei isn’t who I thought he was. In fact, he’s everything I’ve been determined to avoid. Now I have to decide if loving Andrei is worth the risk.
