A super romantic, guitar playing tattoo artist who believes in true love. An emotionally and physically scarred photographer who spends her days documenting the kind of love she believes she doesn’t deserve. If he wants forever, and she refuses to give anyone more than one night, can friendship ever be enough for either of them?

Johnny meets Becca after a Sleeping Dogs show that they’ve hired her to photograph, and he’s positive he’s finally found ‘the one’. Becca has other ideas, though, and hers are of the less permanent variety.
For reasons she prefers to keep in the past, Becca doesn’t get intimate with a guy more than once.
Johnny wants a fairytale true love like his parents have, and he’s gone through dozens of women trying to find it.
When Becca’s mother gets it into her head that she’s going to find Becca a man, Johnny steps in with the perfect plan. He’ll pose as Becca’s boyfriend to get her mother off her back.
Pretty soon, what’s supposed to be one friend helping another turns into more than just a fake relationship.
Can Becca face her trauma and find the strength to trust Johnny with a real chance? Or will the childhood accident that left her scarred in more ways than one leave her settling for less love than she deserves?
