In four weeks, Sage Elowen Holloway will either prove she belongs on the path to the NHL… or watch her final chance slip through her fingers.
She’s spent her whole life fighting for ice time.
For respect.
For a future no one believes an Omega girl should want.
Because Sage isn’t just chasing professional hockey—
She’s trying to become the first female Omega to break into it.
Teams won’t risk the distraction.
Scouts won’t risk the scandal.
And without a pack, the league won’t risk her at all.
Valenridge is supposed to be her reset.
Her last shot to prove that skill matters more than born biology.
At least… that’s the plan. Until she meets Archie Hale Rosedale—
The coach’s quiet, brilliant son hiding a once-in-a-generation talent behind nerves, notebooks, and a past no one talks about.
So Sage makes him a bet.
They rise together.
They prove everyone wrong.
They take their impossible dreams all the way to the draft.
Only one problem.
Two players aren’t enough to change fate.
They need a pack.
And the answer arrives with the Archer twins—
international sensations whose winning streak shattered overseas… along with whatever secret they refuse to share.
Rowan Archer — Center, #16. Calm, strategic, and dangerously composed.
Ronan Archer — Winger, #17. Fierce, reckless, and impossible to ignore.
They’re talented.
Broken.
And suddenly, very interested in Sage’s impossible dream.
Now Sage has weeks—not months—to turn four broken chances into one unstoppable team.
Because the first major game is coming.
Scouts are watching.
And luck has never been on her side.
In a season of forced proximity, rising heats, and bonds forming faster than she can stop them, Sage begins to wonder if this gamble was never about hockey at all.
Because the only thing more terrifying than losing her dream…
…is discovering the future she wants might include all of them.
Will Sage take the shot that could change everything?
Or will luck finally run out before the final buzzer?
