After the fallout of a disastrous high-stakes poker game, Harriet is removed from everything she knows and delivered into a pack that isn’t hers. Bound by tradition and debt, she is claimed by Cole, a powerful alpha and heir to Pack Sandstorm’s legacy.
The claim is legal. Binding. And meant to be temporary.
Now Harriet must survive under the scrutiny of Pack Sandstorm, tethered to an alpha who keeps her at arm’s length while refusing to let her go. Every rule tells her she is property. Every instinct tells her she is becoming something far more dangerous.
Cole tells herself the claim was strategic. A lesson. A humiliation she had every right to deliver. But the truth is less convenient. There is something about Harriet she can’t ignore—and the longer the omega remains at her side, the harder it becomes to pretend the claim was nothing more than politics.
If Cole chooses tradition, she keeps her power. If she chooses Harriet, she risks destabilising the pack she is meant to inherit.

A dark, slow-burn sapphic werewolf romance featuring forced proximity, power imbalance, and a bond that was never meant to exist—but refuses to fade.

Content warnings: BDSM, sex, dubious consent, power imbalance, reference to sexual abuse, attempted sexual abuse, violence, and gore.
