Coach Offside
I came to Gilberton divorced, disgraced, and defeated. The only coaching job I could land was with a minor league team, and I’m not even sure I want it. I haven’t seen my girls in more than half a year, and it’s burning such a big hole in my heart, nothing else matters.
When my housing falls through, I end up rooming with Tex Manning. Right from the start, he intrigues me. For someone in his line of work, he’s remarkably upbeat. And friendly, charming, and incredibly attractive.
An undeniable attraction simmers between us, but how can I even think about a relationship when I’m barely holding myself together?
