Zac's Bear Mate
I checked in with a broken car and no way back to the desert. I checked out with my future.
Buy a new car, they said. It’s better than getting a used one that might break down on you the first time you drive it, they said. You won’t regret it, they said. They had never been more wrong in their life And by they, I meant my so-called bestie I had just put on probation for getting me stuck in the middle of nowhere.
The last place I want to be is a dated motel that rents rooms by the month, week, day, and even hour. Nope. I want to be back home in my comfy bed and saltwater pool. Yet, here I am. Might as well make the most of it, right?
