She’s the daughter of the man who saved my life.
Now she’s mine to protect… and I’d burn down the world to keep her safe.

My father never came home from his deployment. A hero, they said.
I packed up his life, folded the flag, and tried to move on. Then I stumbled onto something he left behind, and now I’ve got a target on my back.
He left me one number in case something ever went wrong. I called it. And Knox Sutton showed up at my door.
Massive. Rough. All sharp edges and quiet power.
Scarred hands. Hard jaw. Eyes that feel like a loaded weapon.
The moment he looked at me, my pulse stopped. My skin tightened.
And every part of me knew… if I let him touch me, I’ll never be the same.
He says I’m under his protection now.
That no one’s getting near me.
And when he’s this close, growling that I belong to him…
I believe him.

Knox
Her father saved my life.
Now he’s gone, and his daughter’s in the crosshairs.
Sweet. Curvy. Innocent.
One look and I knew this wasn’t a job.
It was a reckoning.
I’d kill to keep her.
Bury anyone who looks at her too long.
Hide her away where only I can touch her.
And when I do?
She won’t want anyone else.
She doesn’t know what kind of storm she’s stepped into.
Doesn’t know the things I’ve done.
But none of that matters now.
Because the second I saw her, she was mine.
And I don’t let go.
Not ever.

Tropes:
Possessive ex-military hero. Age gap. Grumpy bodyguard. Curvy virgin heroine. Touch her and die. He fell first. One bed. All heat, all heart.
Standalone. No cliffhanger. Guaranteed obsession.
