A Grumpy OTT Protective Alpha + Brother’s Best Friend + Bodyguard / Captive Vibe + Hate to Love + Small Town Western

River Allison is a cowgirl with a single-minded mission to dominate the Valentine’s Day Rodeo and secure the sponsorship that will save her future.

She’s weathered bruises, falls, and broken bones, so she isn’t about to let a few creepy gifts derail her career.

But her brother has other plans. He’s called in a favor from the most relentless man he knows.

Former SEAL Symon “Diesel” Drake is 6’6” of immovable muscle and zero compromise.

Diesel doesn’t do suggestions. He does orders.

When he sees the threat escalating against River, he flips the switch to Over The Top Protective.

To Diesel, the best way to keep River safe is to keep her under his thumb… effectively making her his captive until the danger passes.

When push comes to shove, River must take the bodyguard she hates as her date.

But the lines are blurring. Diesel is breaking the ultimate bro code by falling for his best friend’s sister.

And as the threats turn deadly, going rogue may be his only option to save her and win a shot at forever.
