Seth had everything a man like him wasn’t supposed to have. A wife who felt like peace in a war zone, a son and another child on the way who gave him purpose, and blood on his hands that finally settled an old score.
But in Seth’s world, peace doesn’t last long, and enemies never die easy. One phone call, that’s all it took to shatter his reality.
His pregnant wife shot, his unborn child’s life hanging by a thread, and suddenly, the man who tried to elevate from the street life is forced to become everything he swore he was ready to bury.
Now Seth is torn between two deadly choices: hold his family close or burn the city down until every name tied to the hit is crossed off. The streets call it revenge. He calls it his redemption. But redemption comes with a cost, and this time, it might be the very family he’s trying to protect.
As a mother watches her son disappear into the killer he was raised to be and betrayal creeps in from bloodlines too close to kill, Seth and Stormi are left to fight for more than love. They’re fighting for survival.
When the family you’re born into becomes your biggest threat, and the love you find is the only thing holding you together, how far will you go to protect what’s yours?
They built their love in a world built to destroy them. Will they get there happily ever after or will their story end in blood?
