Poetic justice. Axel doesn’t even recognize me. That’s how inconsequential I was to him back then.
They say revenge is a dish best served cold, but I had no idea Axel would be … well … so hot. Or charming. Or funny. Or devastatingly attractive in that dangerous, slow-smile way that’s poking some very inconvenient holes in my perfectly justified grudge.
Turns out, the biggest story might not be the one I’m writing.
But the one I’ve fallen into.
