Three years ago, alpha wolf shifter Freid dreamed he would find his mate at Animals SD. Now, he sits there every Friday and Saturday, wearing the same shirt from his dream and hoping it’s finally the day. And his first night there, he meets a tiger shifter. The connection is strong and over the years, Freid wonders if he should just give up and ask the alpha to be his mate. It was only a dream after all.

Alpha tiger shifter Ty never used to be a club kind of guy. He wanders into Animals one night to meet a blind date who ghosts him. He isn’t even mad about it. Instead, he meets a wolf shifter who feels more like someone from home than a random stranger. Over the years, he’s itching to make a move, but he can’t. Freid is waiting for someone, but it isn’t him.

Omega dingo shifter Penn grew up hiding in the library. It was the one safe space where he could hide, first from his life in foster care and then from the cruelty of the pack who took him in. At nearly thirty, he is working in the San Diego library, still hiding. He’s fine being alone. At least, that’s the lie he tells himself.

When a box of menus is accidentally left with a shipment at the library, Penn decides to drop them off at Animals himself. He has no idea that two alphas sitting there have been waiting for him for years.
