CODY
“I know who I am and I know where I’m going.”
Or at least, I always thought I did. Until I meet him. Luke Carrington, defenseman for the Aurora Mountain Lions. The most happy-go-lucky guy I’ve ever met. My new teammate. My new roomie. Someone who sends pucks flying around in my belly when I promised myself I’d never fall for a guy again unless he’s ace.
From my dad and brother leaving to my mom micromanaging my life, I’ve set one goal for myself: to reach the NHL and become the best goalie I can be. But now that I’m here, I find myself wanting more. I find myself wanting him.

LUKE
They don’t call me the Comeback Kid for nothing. Nothing gets me down – not even a freeze-your-butt-off Colorado winter or a failing season. There isn’t a challenge I won’t take on. And I wanna take on our new goalie, Cody Mitchell. Only problem: he’s ace and he’s friend zoned me. And me… Well, come to think of it, I’m not sure. From living and breathing hockey all my life, there’s been no time for love or dating.
As easy as life has been, things always going my way, I suddenly find myself wanting the one thing I can’t have. Him.
