Holidays have given nothing but hurt.
If you ask me, happiness over rated. I tried it once. I had good friends, a good job, and a good man. Well, all that happiness was just a mirage. Because with one betrayal, I lost it all. Now I am just fine going it alone, avoiding all the good things that try to tempt me to try again. Enter Niko, the sweetest, kindest, most earnest man I have ever met.
I cannot seem to shake him and before I know it–I don’t want to.
