Compared to Charlotte’s neat brush strokes and chaste subject matter, Devo’s art is everything hers isn’t, and everything she’s trained not to be.

So why can’t she look away?
One night, Charlotte’s fascination takes the reins, leading to a pen pal relationship with the mysterious artist. She’s heard the rumors: each of Devo’s paintings has a Muse—a real woman whose silhouette is transferred to the canvas. So, when Devo tells Charlotte he’s coming to Brooklyn and that he wants to collaborate with her, she realizes she has a choice to make.
