When duty collides with destiny, love might tear her world apart.

Princess Raea Tierson has spent eleven years within the halls of Drithm Academy, training among the stars to prepare for her future–one she’s always imagined bonded to her best friend, Kellan. Their magical Lumos Bond has been slowly growing, and she’s certain it’s only a matter of time before fate confirms what her heart already knows.
But everything changes when she reaches the Executive Order and is assigned to Taeolyn dorm under the leadership of the Academy’s dark prince–Anders “Ryker” Rykerson.
Brooding, untouchable, and soon to be crowned heir, Anders has never let anyone too close–until Raea. As her dorm leader and newly assigned escort, Anders finds himself fighting a bond he can’t want but can no longer deny. She’s the one person he’s forbidden to love…and the only one who makes him feel alive.
As the veil protecting their system begins to weaken and whispers of war stir across the galaxy, Raea must make an impossible choice: hold fast to the boy she’s always loved, or embrace a future written in the stars with the one man who could shatter everything she thought she knew.

Loyalties will be tested. Hearts will be broken. And a bond foretold may be the only thing that can save them all.
