Stephan Volkov is about to embark on a journey that will uproot his entire life and everything he’s ever learned about crime.

He ventures off with a few of his buddies, robbing a bank in broad daylight, clearing them out of everything they had only to find something hidden in the safe he didn’t expect to find.
Stephan finds a painting that has been in the crime circles for generations, and he always believed it was a myth due to how much it was truly worth, but he managed to get his hands on it.

That painting led him right into the life of Annika Novikova, a young daughter of a crime boss herself, trying to find her footing in the real world as a collector.
Though, Stephan isn’t the only one that’s intrigued by the existence of the painting, and it is the sole reason behind the chaos that would ensue, the death of the people he loved, as he desperately tries to protect the woman that has single handedly changed his life.

Stephan and Annika’s relationship is a passionate intertwining of two young criminals, falling in love, and desperately trying to stay alive.
