I had moved on from everything. At least, I think I have. My final year of college is ending, and all I’m focused on is hiding that I’ve fallen in love with my best friend’s girl and keeping myself somewhat sane. However, her best friend? The aspiring film director? Broke through that barrier faster than I could think.
We couldn’t be more different from each other. Yet, there’s something about this girl that pulls me towards her like a magnet. From her bold personality to those blue eyes that can see through anything I’m hiding. She’s unafraid to tell me what she thinks, and for once…
She treats me like a normal person, despite everything she knows. I just can’t figure out how or why she would do that in the first place.

My entire life, I’ve been too aware. That’s why I’m a good director. So when I learn about Crew Shentu’s not-so-secretive crush on my best friend, it’s not because I was actively looking for it.
What I wasn’t aware of was how fast I could be attracted to someone as closed-off as him. Every time we’re around each other, I want to put all the pieces together, figure him out before the end nears. He keeps my mind at ease when he doesn’t realize it.

I just wish it wasn’t one-sided. We’re different from head to toe, start to finish, and I’m a reminder of what he’s tried to escape for years.
