Holding a business meeting at a strip club isn’t my first choice, but I go where the prospective client wants. It’s going well until that same prospective client grabs a dancer and won’t let him go. I don’t mean to start a fight, but I can’t stand there and do nothing. I’m just trying to defend the dancer, and instead, I get him fired. I don’t blame Sam for being angry at me, and I’m not the kind of man to leave someone in a mess I created. So I do the only thing I can think of and offer to pay the little spitfire to act as my boyfriend at the holiday gathering in my hometown. It should be a quick, emotionless business deal. Well, except for the massive paycheck that’s way bigger than anything I could’ve made working at Vinnie’s. It’s enough to cover expenses for a few months for both me and my brother, and it’d be ridiculous to turn Dalton down. But the minute we arrive at his hometown and start acting like boyfriends, I realize I’m in trouble. No guy has ever treated me the way that Dalton has—like I matter. Every time he touches me, it awakens a part of me I’ve kept buried. Falling for Dalton is a mistake I can’t afford to make, but how can I walk away when he’s fulfilling every forbidden fantasy I’ve ever had?
