The moment I first see Kai, he’s at the side of the road wearing nothing but underwear and a grin. It’s tricky to keep myself from outright ogling his perfect physique, yet I attempt to hold it together.

I can’t stop beaming either, from the casual way he brushes off our weird meeting, then asks me to dinner. Some men bring flowers on a first date. He arranges a safe parking spot for my RV, which is even more thoughtful. I’ve never felt a spark like this – both mental and physical. And I’ve certainly never kissed anyone on a first date before, yet this raw desire seems to have a mind of its own.

At first, I think Kai and his four brothers have some tech startup business. Actually, they’re a global powerhouse, and this laid back guy is worth a fortune. I’m not sure what to think about that.

Kai seems planted here in Old Hemlock Valley, with no desire to travel. Since I’m on a mission to continue my road tripping, travelling ways for several years, I’m not sure what to think about that, either.

I want to stay with him. Want to let this instant lust overtake us both, and change all of my plans forever.

Can we find a way to work out our differences, before I panic and take to the road again?
