Summer Montgomery never imagined starting over would lead her to the quiet town of Lander, Wyoming. After walking away from her cheating ex-husband, she’s determined to build a new life for herself and her daughter, Mia, one built on strength, independence, and the warmth of the little coffee shop she now calls her own. Love? That’s the one thing she’s sworn off for good.

Captain Ethan Hawthorne, steady, loyal, and every inch the hero the town believes him to be, can’t help being drawn to the curvy, guarded woman who brews the best coffee in Wyoming. Breaking through Summer’s walls won’t be easy, especially when her past refuses to let her go.

When a devastating fire destroys Summer’s home, she and Mia find themselves with nowhere to turn… until the Hawthorne family opens the doors of their ranch. Just as Summer begins to feel safe again, the past she tried so hard to escape creeps back into her life, threatening everything she’s worked for. She soon realizes the biggest fight of her new beginning may still lie ahead.
