For risks, side effects, and wildly inappropriate workplace hookups… consult your goalie.

For the past year, soon-to-be-doctor Anna’s been secretly hooking up with Lucas Moreau—Hawks goalie, walking thirst trap, and certified expert in off-the-record stress relief. No feelings, no strings, just… very satisfying cardio. And hey, who needs love when you’ve got abs like that in your bed?
But all good things (and very good nights) must come to an end. Anna just landed the job as the team’s new doctor, and suddenly “casual” gets complicated. Not only does she have to keep things professional with her favorite bad decision—she also kind of forgot to mention that two of the guys on his team are her brothers. Surprise!

Lucas has zero time for drama. Since losing his sister, he’s been laser-focused on his game, his family, and avoiding anything that looks remotely like a relationship. So his no-strings arrangement with Anna? Ideal. Until it turns out she’s been holding back a few inconvenient—and possibly explosive—little secrets. Now he’s pissed. And conflicted. And still thinking about how she looks in his T-shirt.

They said it was meaningless. They swore it was just for fun.
So why does walking away feel like the biggest mistake either of them ever made?
