Cosette Duval lives a quiet, mundane life. Exactly how she likes it.
Teach high school English. Keep the house running. Be the responsible one while her best friend lives carefree under the same roof. Cosette’s life is neat, predictable, safe, and exactly the same every single day.
Until one impulsive night changes everything.
Dragged to a metalcore concert she never planned on attending, Cosette finds herself the sole focus of Asher Stone—the tattooed, ethereal lead singer of the very band she didn’t know existed hours earlier. What should’ve been a one-night stand turns into stolen weekends, secret messages, and late-night motorcycle rides she never wants to end.
But Cosette knows better than to fall for a rockstar. Especially this one. Because her best friend is in love with him too.
