Tee the Season

Sure, I had a mind-blowing one-night stand with the best man at my best friend’s wedding. I just didn’t think when he flew into town months later, a massive snowstorm would trap us together for days.
I may have jumped at the chance for round two with the devastatingly gorgeous golf caddy, whose skills from that first night are impossible to forget, but we agreed it was just to “get it out of our systems.” What we didn’t plan on was a nor’easter completely snowing us in so close to the holidays.
Now Rory’s stuck in my tiny apartment, fumbling adorably with my coffee maker and turning my quiet life upside down. A few days of forced proximity should be enough to satisfy this craving once and for all. Instead, seeing how naturally he steps up when it matters has me falling harder than the snow outside.
His world is suitcases and constant travel. Mine is cozy routines and community roots. We both swear this is just a fling, but every stolen moment makes it harder to pretend I don’t want him to stay.
