After the fall of humanity, the dragons came. And now they demand a Tribute.
Kaylee
Dragons are a myth…or they were, until one showed up and said he was claiming me as his tribute. And for tribute, read slave. Well, the joke’s on him. I can’t sew, my cleaning sucks, and the less said about attempts to cook, the better. I’m the wolf shifter who can’t even shift, so if he thinks he’s going to make my life worse…good luck with that. He might be older than me, more powerful, and hot as hell, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to roll over like a good little wolf. This bitch has fangs…just not literal ones.

Rook
Gods damned wolves. Like I don’t have enough to deal with, I’ve now got to claim a Tribute before the other dragons think I’m weak, and go picking fights that I can’t be bothered to win. Kaylee is a complication I don’t need, and with the self-proclaimed king of dragons breathing down my neck, the last thing I need is my inner beast developing a crush on the bratty wolfless shifter.
And what the hell is she doing in my library?
