Hunted By Fae

Bee and Tess are on the trip of a lifetime—when the sky rumbles with a thick, churning darkness that swallows the world.

First came the darkness,
And it brought the plague.
But the true horror was for those who survived long enough to suffer the invasion of dark fae warriors.

TESS
Everyone is blind now.
The blackout is so thick that without a flashlight, I can’t see my own hand in front of my face.
But in this fallen, harsh world, there are things I do see.
Like, how Bee, my bestie of ten years, is hoarding secrets darker than the blackout. She knows what this is. The darkness that plagues us. The sickness that is spreading and killing us.
And she knows what they are—
They look like us, but different. Wrong. Taller, larger, stronger, fiercer… The monsters that march through the darkness.

BEE
I only care about two things in this dying world. Survival and Tess.
If the blackout wasn’t enough, blinding us in our world, cutting off all our technologies, communications, food supplies, and leaving us to collapse on our own, they send out two more strikes. The plague—and then, finally, the warriors themselves.
The warriors of the dark fae invade to exterminate, and I know what they are. I know they are here to eradicate us.
I have a plan.
Hide in the darkness, follow the warriors back to where they came from, and from there, I can find a way home—
But that plan starts to dissolve when I realise he is among them.
Dare.
Gilded eyes, a dark soul, ruthless to the bone.
A dark fae I once crossed. A dark warrior I once slighted.
Fae don’t forget or forgive.
And I figure out, fast, that he’s on the hunt for more than human extinction.
He is here to get his revenge on me.

In this cold, dark world—we become the hunted.
