Her Scot of Yesteryear

Name: Her Scot of Yesteryear
Author: Sky Purington

48 pages

Two souls bound together six hundred years apart. One sizzling hot attraction that could alter the fate of Scotland.
What if I told you fairytales do come true and the man of your dreams existed six centuries before you were born? Then what if I told you the fairytale was wrong, and he was in love with someone else? You would probably tell me I was losing my mind, but I’m not. It was confirmed when I moved into my new home in New Hampshire and learned that the whimsical stories that had been born of my imagination since childhood were real.

Very real and made up of a tall, handsome Highland dragon warrior.
Yet when I’m whisked back in time, unlike my dashing hero of Yesteryear, as I so lovingly called him, Laird Broderick MacLeod is nothing like I imagined. He’s brooding and standoffish, pining over lost love, until a magical Viking sword draws us together, igniting a scorching passion that attracts the wrong kind of attention.

The sort of attention that will turn the King of Scotland’s scrutiny our way and spark an age-old blood feud between the MacLeods and a rival clan that could threaten history unless I do the last thing I saw coming. Something that will tear me away from Broderick unless he defies his monarch and risks everything. I must become the enemy’s mistress to appease the king and bring peace.

A MacLomain Series spin-off. For longtime readers, this series follows my usual way of storytelling. Every other chapter is seen/told from the hero or heroine’s POV (point of view).
