A random encounter in the lumber store with a mountain man had me none the wiser. Neither did a sketchy parking lot, and an unplanned rescue. I was oblivious to the gorgeous, muscular man’s true identity when we met.

He’s also JJ freaking Camdon, super-famous quarterback for the Dallas Patriots. And, after leaving one nightmare marriage in my past, I definitely don’t want another. I’ve learned what falling in love can cost me, and I’m guarding my heart.
