Supernatural secrets, spells gone wrong, and a killer on the loose. Can a small town witch and big city reporter survive long enough to make their own kind of magic?

Forced to take time off after a traumatic experience, Jared reluctantly admits a change might be good for him. With no new leads on his attacker, he puts his journalistic talents to use investigating a mystery that’s bothered him for years—the hidden town of Crystal Lake. But what he uncovers is bigger than he ever imagined. Crystal Lake is a town for supernaturals, warded against humans except during its annual Halloween festival. And Jared? He’s not human.
When Selene meets the man from her recurring vision, two key things are revealed: Jared’s her fated mate, and he has no knowledge of the supernatural until she accidentally shocks him with the truth. Now Selene must keep their bond a secret to give Jared a chance to adjust to his new life.
Magical mishaps and a setback in Jared’s supernatural training test their budding relationship. Things only get worse when the body of a human tourist is discovered during the Halloween festival. Notorious serial killer The Raven has followed Jared to Crystal Lake. Can Selene and Jared protect each other and the town, or will The Raven destroy the enchanted life they’re building?
