Two broken hearts, one whisky distillery, and a whole lot of rope…

When her life blows up, PR disaster Claire escapes to a tiny Scottish village to hide, fix up a leaky cottage, and try not think about the boss-come-ex-boyfriend who kept their relationship a secret.
Until a grumpy whisky maker with a penchant for making her squirm sets his sights on her. She’s barely holding together, and he gives her a safe and steamy place to fall apart.
Add in fiercely fought pub quizzes, a murderous seagull, reels that accidentally go viral, and a village that ships them by committee. It’s all looking up until Claire’s ex shows up with an offer to give her old life back.
Claire has to choose between the buzz that burned her once… or the quiet man who makes following rules feel like freedom.
