Darcy Adler has always felt like the black sheep of her family. When the fire chief tells Archer he wants him for the job, it’s almost too good to be true. And that’s because it is. There’s a catch: he needs to prove he has a life outside of fighting fires to get it.
With Darcy not wanting to be the family screw up yet again, and Archer desperate to get the promotion of his dreams, the two agree to a plan. Fake date long enough for Darcy’s pregnancy to not seem like another one of her mistakes, and for Archer to get promoted.
But as the two are forced together, truths are revealed, and faking it until they make it gets a lot more complicated.
