In a world where sky and earth are sworn enemies, a storm eagle shifter awakens dormant powers in Haven’s Heart’s lead geneticist.

Dr. Elena Ashford has always believed science could bridge the divide between shifters, resisting political pressure to exploit genetic vulnerabilities in the war with the wild clans.
But when the golden-winged leader of the Storm Eagles crashes into her life carrying his injured sister, everything she believes about herself shatters, testing her loyalty.
Her healer’s oath and her heart would not allow her to refuse help even to the enemy who’s been raiding Haven’s Heart’s settlements for months.
Kael Stormwright is dangerous and absolutely forbidden, the apex predator her people have been hunting. He is everything she should fear and nothing she can resist.
Bound by tradition, he sees ground-dwellers as weak until a glimpse of a human healer ignites something ancient in his blood… and his heart.
Soon they can no longer deny the fated mate pull or the way her power surges every time he’s near, as if her body recognizes something her mind refuses to accept…
As war brews between sky and earth, Elena and Kael find themselves caught in a web of treachery, genetic secrets, and a destiny neither asked for.
To save both their people, they must defy clan laws, face a rising tyrant, and embrace a bond that could either unite or destroy them all.
