Redemption:

More than simply an atonement of one’s soul, to lift the heavy burden of previous sins committed, but an act of deliverance. Of salvation. Of revival. The act of bringing one’s soul back to life. A love, lost…and a lost love, returned.

How is he alive? Where has he been this entire time? How is this even possible? There are too many questions and not enough answers. It’s too much. My teetering mind simply can’t handle the reality I’ve been forced into. Especially when I realize I’ve lost Jax, Cole, and Hawk. Tryon Palace was infiltrated in the early morning hours. Sometime in the melee, Jax was shot. Taken. Hawk and Cole are also missing. God only knows if they’re still alive.

But, despite the dangers that stand in my way—including the ever-present zombie population—I have to find them. Get them back… before it’s too late. In order to do that, however, I need to put aside my anger, my disdain, and work with him in order to save my family. Can my past be the one thing that helps me save my future?
