Kate
Brody Kanfield.
Messy, impulsive, and hot as hell in those lumberjack shirts.
Nothing like the man I just left at the altar . . .
Camden James Cartwright was the man my parents wanted me to marry.
But Cam never truly loved me – he just loved the idea of me.
Not like Brody, who brings out the fun, silly side of me that I thought I’d lost forever.
I’m not ready to go home to Chicago, so Brody and I make a pact to be roommates for a couple of weeks.
The agreement might’ve worked if we weren’t stuck in his house because of the blizzard.
And if I could stop thinking about him when I’m all alone at night . . .
I think we might need a new plan, because I don’t know how long I can keep being sensible Kate when he’s looking at me like that . . .

Brody
Katelyn Millstone.
The girl I rescued from the side of the road in the middle of a blizzard in her wedding dress.
She seemed so uptight at first, not my type at all.
But underneath all that makeup I could tell she was beautiful.
And then I saw her in just a towel and suddenly I’m thinking all sorts of dirty thoughts . . .
Because not only is she super sweet and fun when she lets her hair down and we have snowball fights, but seeing her walking around in my shirts with nothing on underneath is getting me all hot and bothered.
She’s only supposed to stay for a couple of weeks to help with the rent, but damn, I’m starting to wish she was staying for good . . .

Take My Heart is the third book in the steamy small-town Kanfield Orchard series by Allie Everhart.
