This trip has been a dream of mine for years, but I always meant to come to Yellowstone with my dad.
I didn’t want to be here like this, with my dad gone forever.
When my creepy stepbrother can’t keep his eyes or his hands off of me, I’m rescued by a wild mountain man with a dark past and intense eyes and hands that make me feel things I didn’t know were possible. It’s sudden, and unexpected, but I know what Daniel and I have is real.
He’s my family now. My safe place. And I want to give him everything.

I’m happy to be living by myself, off the grid. I belong in the quiet and solitude of nature, and animals are easier than people. But if I’m completely honest with myself, I know I need something more.
I’m just not really sure what that more is until I meet her.
I thought letting someone in would mean giving up the things I love, but somehow Cindy just fits into my life perfectly. Like it was meant to be.
I don’t deserve someone so young and pure and innocent, but I’ll try for the rest of my life to show Cindy how much she means to me.
