Love, Clumsily

I moved to Pine Haven to get away from the noise, the pressure, and my painfully boring ex. I didn’t expect to be flattened—literally—by a man built like a Greek god with the coordination of a baby deer.
Our meet-cute? More like a meet-crash. He tripped over his own feet and landed in my lap at the park, nearly face-planting in my pasta salad.
I thought that would be the end of it, but then he started showing up. At the bakery. On my morning walks. Hovering like he wanted to say something but forgot how words work. His name’s Mason, and he’s gorgeous, growly, and clearly keeping a secret.
It doesn’t take long to figure out what it is. The heightened senses, the golden eyes, the whole accidentally-shifted-in-public thing kind of gave it away.
Turns out Mason’s a werewolf. And somehow, despite the fact that he can’t flirt to save his life, he’s got me wrapped around one very large paw.
He thinks he’s too much—too intense, too dangerous, too… wolf. But I’ve already fallen for him. Claws, awkward silences, full moons and all.
