Almost four years after Chief of Police Justice McQuaid arrived in Laguna Beach, he and his loyal band of officers are ready to begin a new challenge as Secret Service agents. Their assignment is to protect Secretary of State Barbara Washburn as she campaigns for President of the United States. But two startling events happen simultaneously—Axis and Axalia Anderson, the teenaged children of an old enemy vanquished four years ago, escape from a mental institution, and Justice discovers the identity of the birth parents of Barbara and Greg Washburn’s adopted daughter, Julia.
With his friends getting ready to leave their wives and children for their Secret Service duty, Officer Miguel Rivera volunteers to tell the Washburns the truth. After confronting Barbara Washburn’s chief of staff about his duplicity in keeping such a volatile secret, Miguel and Julia join forces to apprehend the Anderson siblings. But there’s another explosive secret to Julia’s heritage. A secret that can be used against her if Axis and Axalia know her true identity.

In this exciting conclusion to the Laguna Beach cops series, it’s a race to stop Axis and Axalia from executing their diabolical plans. With danger and surprise revelations at every turn, what will Miguel and Julia sacrifice to keep each other safe? What will they sacrifice for love?
