A good day can take a turn for the worse in the blink of an eye.

One minute, I’m boxing up a dozen of my best-selling chocolate chip cookies, and the next, I’m trapped beneath a car that crashed straight through my bakery.
It’s just my luck that the first person on the scene is the tall, brooding paramedic who happens to be my newest regular customer. The same man I’ve been secretly crushing on even though I can’t quite figure him out.
