Unfulfilled Promises
To make her dreams come true, I was prepared to become her nightmare.
She was freed from a dark nightmare and thrived in silence, never revealing her pain. She seemed to be looking over her shoulder, running away from her past, and when she was given the chance to speak, she still remained silent. I didn’t want to be her dark savior. I wanted to be her everything. But to be that I had to drag her into the shadows so she could find her way back to the light.
Could I convince her that her heart was safe with me, or would she continue to guard her secrets? Her past was the key to everything, but she refused to tell her story. Now, she’s got a choice to make, that could be the difference between putting an end to all our nightmares or trapping us within them. I just hope that when she’s forced to face true darkness and the truth is revealed, she can find a way to forgive me.
Will I be able to save her in time, or will she succumb to evil and be lost forever?
Will this be the end of the nightmare or only just the beginning?
