ATTEND THE ACADEMY FOR WINGED SHIFTERS, FIND A HUSBAND, AND YOU WILL BE PROTECTED.

Deemed the “Ugly Duckling” of the academy, Nix Oadess tries to find a husband by graduation, but she fails. When the other female prey shifters solidify their “protectors” by finding husbands, Nix goes missing.

Over the last four years, Nix has been kept in a cage, injected with poison to keep her weak, and experimented on by a sadistic mad scientist, who calls her his “Pretty Little Birdie.”

Finally, she dies. Alone. Not saved by anyone. Then, she wakes up six years in her past when she is twenty years old and a third year at Alatus Academy, before her future captivity and torture.
WITH THE PAST AS HER NEW PRESENT, SHE IS OUT FOR REVENGE.

Who has time for a bad boy incubus, a dragon shifter with a troubled past, and a studly yet stuffy gargoyle professor who keeps holding her after class when she has a future to change? This time around, Nix will learn how to protect herself—and kill her future captor before he even knows where to find her. Or she will burn the academy down trying.

Wings of Ashes is the first book in a new high-heat, paranormal shifters, why choose duet series. This two-book series asks the question of “What if the patriarchy existed in the world of shifters—and what if the underestimated female shifter burned it to the ground?” This duology is full of spice, revenge, and four dark and damaged love interests that she will not have to choose between. It contains adult themes, violence, and bad language.*
