When Evangeline “Evie” Sinclair visits an antique store in the heart of Edinburgh, she stumbles upon an ancient odd-looking stone that ignites an inexplicable excitement within her. But the stone has mysterious powers that transport her back in time to the rugged landscape of 14th Century Scotland…and into the arms of a sexy Highlander.

In a land torn by political turmoil and ancient traditions, Callum MacLeod is determined to keep his secrets to himself. But when a beautiful young woman arrives from the future bearing the very keystone he’s been searching for, he begins to question everything. Burdened by the responsibility of protecting the keystone, he keeps its powers a closely guarded secret to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands—his rival clan determined to wield the power of the stone for themselves.

As Evie grows closer to Callum, the power of the relic becomes clear. A rival clan, desperate to secure their ascendency, will stop at nothing to obtain the keystone. As her understanding of how it works develops, she and Callum forge an unlikely alliance. With danger lurking—and a love that transcends time itself—Evie’s destiny is forever entwined with Callum’s.
