HEAVY IS THE CROWN THAT IS TORN BETWEEN LOVE AND HATE

One of the powerless among a people who can bend nature to their will, Raelle Mansi will be the first queen of her kind. Prophecy says she is destined to be the ruler who will unify her people and end a bloody war within her torn kingdom. It is a feat that feels impossible when she isn’t divinely gifted.
When Raelle learns a rival queen is holding her father for ransom, she defies the king and abandons her royal duties to rescue him. She joins the kingdom’s army disguised as a new recruit, hoping to rally the soldiers her father once led… only to discover that someone has beat her to it.
General Kyron LeFur is the embodiment of everything Raelle was taught to hate. He carries the telltale signs of her enemy—the Stigians, the very people who are holding her father captive. Somehow this menacing and handsome man has taken control of the army, and now she falls under his command too.

With no other choice, Raelle must trust her enemy and resist the intense lure of his power to reunite her family and keep her crown.
