Growing up, the club was my blood, my everything.
If I was told to do something, I’d ask how high.
I never complained, I never questioned the orders,
Even when it involved her.
I never thought feelings would catch, though,
I never thought she would become my one.
She was supposed to be a job,
Nothing more, nothing less,
Then she became more, much more.
But I was lying to her,
I was breaking her trust daily.
I planned on telling her the truth, despite what my President wanted,
I planned to propose,
But then my plans changed, and I had to do what was right for her,
By letting her go.
But I was wrong.
I realized my mistake; I realized how strong she was,
Including when it came to my family.
I wanted her back, no, I needed her back,
I couldn’t breathe without her,
But she’s stubborn, and I had a fight on my hands.
It doesn’t matter how much she pushes back, I pull her even closer,
Because no matter what,
I’ll never let her go again, even if it means handing in my patch.

And just as I begun to let him back in,
He hurt me again.
So I ran.
But it doesn’t stop him from running after me,
And wherever I go, he’ll follow until he gets me back,
Even if it means leaving the club.
