When I get the news that my ten-year reunion is coming up, I have no intention of going. But when my high school nemesis walks into my bakery to hire me for the event, I can’t help but revert to the awkward teen I was the last time I saw her, which might explain the lies that pour out of my mouth about my business thriving and the fiancé I don’t have. I’m in too deep to back out now. But will I be able to find someone to step into the role of my fake fiancé to take me to the reunion?

I can’t pass up a chance to save a damsel in distress, especially if that damsel is the beautiful curvy baker who makes the best butter tarts outside of my native Canada. I’ve been trying to find a way to get her attention for weeks, and I’m hoping this might be it.
